Marina Bay Sands SkyPark: Infinity Pool, Observation Deck, and Tickets
What the SkyPark observation deck actually gets you, why the famous infinity pool is hotel-guests-only, and how to time your visit for the best skyline views.
The View Every Singapore Photo Is Taken From
The SkyPark sits atop Marina Bay Sands' three hotel towers, 57 floors up, and is best known for its 150-meter infinity pool — the world's largest rooftop pool — which appears in almost every skyline shot of Singapore taken from above. There's an important catch most first-time visitors don't realize until they arrive: the pool itself is reserved exclusively for hotel guests.
Observation Deck vs. the Infinity Pool
| Access | Who Can Go | Cost |
|---|---|---|
| Observation Deck | Anyone with a ticket | S$32 (adult) |
| Infinity Pool | Hotel guests only | Included with a hotel stay — not purchasable separately |
| CE LA VI Sky Bar (poolside area, no swimming) | Anyone (with a drink/dining minimum spend) | Varies — typically S$25+ minimum spend |
You cannot buy a day pass to swim in the infinity pool — it's genuinely hotel-guests-only, checked at the elevator. If swimming in it is the goal, you need to book a room at Marina Bay Sands; otherwise, the public Observation Deck is the closest most visitors get, and it offers a very similar view.
Best Time to Go
Sunset is the single most popular slot, giving you daylight views transitioning into the nightly Spectra light-and-water show at the base of the towers (free, runs twice nightly). Arriving 30–45 minutes before sunset gives time to find a good spot before it fills up.
