Top 10 Hotels in Chiang Mai
Ten real hotels across the Old City, Nimman and the Night Bazaar area, ranked by verified guest reviews with direct booking links to Booking.com, Agoda, Trip.com and Expedia.
Chiang Mai is a city where the neighbourhood you pick shapes your week. The Old City inside the moat is where the temples, the Sunday Walking Street and the quiet lanes are, and where most of the best boutique hotels have settled into restored teak houses. Nimman, to the northwest, is the cafe-and-design district favoured by remote workers and weekenders. And the Night Bazaar and Chang Klan area on the east side has the larger hotels, the big pools and the easiest taxi access.
Every hotel below is reviewed individually, with direct links to check current rates and book on Booking.com, Agoda, Trip.com and Expedia. Chiang Mai is at its best and busiest from November to February, and rates climb noticeably in that window and around Songkran in April and Loy Krathong in November, so it is worth comparing platforms for your exact dates.
